Join the Campaign – Sign the Ethical Partnership Pledge
Defending charities. Protecting innovation. Standing for ethical conduct.
The Ethical Partnership Pledge campaign is a national initiative to protect charities and voluntary organisations working in public services from unethical supplier behaviour. From health and social care to education, housing and beyond, charities play a vital role in delivering community-based support and innovation. But too often, their contributions are exploited, copied, or sidelined by commercial suppliers.
About the Ethical Partnership Pledge
The Ethical Partnership Pledge sets out five clear principles for how public service suppliers should engage with charities. It promotes respect, transparency, and fair competition — and ensures that third-sector partners are treated with the integrity they deserve.
By signing the Pledge, suppliers publicly commit to:
- Respect charitable innovation and intellectual property
- Never misrepresent or imply charity partnerships without consent
- Avoid interference in charity–commissioner relationships
- Act transparently and accountably
- Collaborate constructively with the voluntary sector
Who Can Sign?
This campaign welcomes support from public service suppliers, commissioners, trade bodies, charities, social enterprises, and individuals. Whether you’re part of the VCSE sector or a supplier committed to ethical practice, your voice matters.
